FLEET
Like most airlines, propeller aircraft are where it began. The RMA story began with a pair of piston aircraft, and a second-hand King Air, offering ad-hoc service from Gateway to Sedona or Las Vegas. After several King Airs (some leased), a small fleet of 9-passenger Quest (now Daher) Kodiak 100 aircraft was acquired. Weekend circuits of Mesa-Sedona-Grand Canyon-Page-Mesa became a regularity. For FSX/P3D, the Lionheart Creations payware is used, with RMA texture files found here. There are two distinct liveries; branded standard and "safari." MSFS pilots, there is a payware version for you; use a livery that fits with what you see.

The Pilatus PC-12 has emerged to rival the smaller members of the King Air family, carrying two in the cockpit (but certified for one), and six in the back, along with cargo and a toilet. Her speed outclasses the small King Airs on just one engine too, saving fuel and maintenance costs, making this aircraft the affordable option to destinations in Arizona and bordering states. She's not afraid of the rugged. FSX/P3D textures for N12RM are available here, with additional goodies. N612J is a leased aircraft, with no RMA logo branding (thus, it bases in Scottsdale). Freeware flyers, your aircraft is here.
With seats for six, plus a convertible toilet and the right seat up-front, the Embraer Phenom 300 by Carenado is supreme in the light business jet class, and the workhorse of the RMA fleet. The RMA standard and Sunchaser liveries for FSX/P3D are in the download, along with both the Red Mountain and Sunchaser voicepacks. There are numerous other Phenom 300 liveries with N registrations ending in RM created by Ray Marshall available for download at the AVSIM library. X-Plane pilots, use a livery for the Aerobask payware that is compatible with what you see here. MSFS pilots, your payware version is here (use the best fitting livery available). Freeware flyers, CamSim has you covered for FS9 and FSX. To get an idea of the passenger experience aboard the Phenom 300, check out this video.

The fastest subsonic private jet yet made is the Cessna Citation X. N750RM bases in Scottsdale, is serviced at Gateway, and has the range for Hawaii. This FSX /P3D freeware aircraft has several custom tweaks to make it unique to RMAG. The Citation X is also native to MSFS2024; use a livery that fits what you see.
Retro RMA
There couldn't be a mention of such a venerable type without a download to go with it. Here's a look at the RMA fleet of 2006. The King Air 200 is Carenado payware for FSX/P3D. Get the textures here. The 300 model is freeware for FSX/P3D by AFG. This download is a full aircraft. FS9 users, you can fly the RMA textures as well by moving the texture folder's contents into the "texture.RMA" folder (you will still need to download the FS9 version of the aircraft from the usual websites). Destinations in 2006 were mostly within Arizona, and bordering states; where the Kodiaks are seen today.

The very first aircraft in the fleet were an assortment of piston twins, namely Beech Baron types, with the next step being a "Baby King Air." Feel free to use a default red-liveried Baron (or Carenado payware) from any sim platform. The same goes for the C90 (all models; C90B shown).

Finally, there is the ultimate in retro freeware, the Manfred Jahn C-47 for FSX/P3D (and also the Aeroworx edition for X-Plane 11+). Download links are available on the SunChaser page, along with additional SunChaser aircraft.
Airshow Fleet
There are three special aircraft that only see occasional use for charters, and (in the case of the Basler BT-67) specialized cargo runs to Native American reservations in the American southwest. The Basler is used for skydiving events, and also makes an annual passenger run to and from OshKosh for EAA AirVenture. The BT-67 is a complete aircraft with a modern cockpit and turboprop power. The Lockheed L-10 Electra is painted in a special "Spirit of Burbank" livery, and is seen at air shows in Arizona, Southern Nevada and Southern California. The textures are for the payware JustFlight/Aeroplane Heaven edition for FSX/P3D. The Beech B2000 Starship was ahead of its' time and yet has become a rarity. Such is the nature of aviation. The RMAG specimen mostly resides in our Mesa Gateway hangar, but does appear at various airshows, including Oshkosh AirVenture. Our freeware aircraft is an updated Mike Stone creation for FSX/P3D, complete with custom sounds. There is a payware of this aircraft for MSFS20/24 available from Black Square. The stock N2000S livery is a close enough match to it for RMA use.
